Mike Schrenk author of "Webbots, Spiders, and Screen Scrapers: A Guide
to Developing Internet Agents with PHP/CURL." will be our guest for
the May 17th meeting. His presentation will be an overview of his
research and development, potential uses, and personal annecdotes. He
is also open to discussing the process of becoming published.

Should be a very interesting meeting, hope all of you can join us.

Our next meeting is January 18th (Third Thursday of the month) @ Broadway pizza.

I am going to do a talk on Intro to Web Hacking around WebGoat and WebScarab tools. I invite everyone and anyone to come to this, this is not just for uber-hackers, as all of us use web applications in some form or another, eg: On-line Banking, Web based email, portals, etc. I just want to make everyone aware that these common flaws still exits, and this maybe a good place for some in-depth Q and A.

I am touting this as an interactive lesson, rather then a typical stand up presentation. If you have questions I will be more then willing to answer them, no mater then technical depth or breath.

We will also bring a newly acquired (donations are the best kind!) CC terminal for folks to play with.

We will have a presentation on Tivo hacking tonight!

This should be really fun, take your plane jane Tivo, and make it web accessable, add ssh, and ftp to it.

We will also setup our topic for next month which will be Mag Stripe hacking, bringing some example docs, and way to build a reader for our next meeting.

Please come and join us, even if only for dinner! Tonight should be really fun!

but it may go longer, it will be a good one!

DC612 Meeting next- Thursday October 19th 2006.

Andy will be giving a talk on Tivo hacking, making more out of your tivo. This should be fun, and will be our first talk.

We will start just after 6pm- please join us to eat, drink, and be merry.

Were gonna meet at broadway pizza, the one on broadway near the Missippi river, east of 94 on broadway! After our last meet we figgured that we needed a seperate room for us so we could actually give presentations and talk to the person across the table with-out yelling. I have reserved the "Green" room, which will seat about 50 people, so please plan on comming!

We will meet on the 21st @ 6pm.

The meeting on 9/21 will be an open format, if you have something to share please bring it along!

Meeting went well considering the place was really busy. Heather and I made lock boards that work well, but we didn't have enought room for them.

It sounds like we may have a space that will be really nice (eg: conference room with projector, etc...).

Next meeting will be September 21st, and I'm thinking the main focus will be Tivo Hacks... If people would like to contrbuite other talks or presentations, please send them our way.

Other then that, it went well, and we had about 9 people make out.

We would also like to do a post-Defcon wrap up talk. Anyone who was able to make it to the talk's that could give us some good insight? (We were running around getting the network working...)

The last meeting we had was great!

We have picked a main topic for out next meeting, LockPicking, this should be a fun one.

Heather and I are going to put togother a lock board for the next meeting, so everyone bring thier bump keys!
